Frontend JavaScript Developer (Киев, офис)

On behalf of Playtech (www.playtech.com) Ciklum is looking for a Frontend JavaScript Developer for Playtech Mobile team.

Playtech – the world's leading online gaming platform vendor – is inviting experienced JS developers to join the new development center in Kiev.

Become part of the Playtech Mobile team to develop HTML5 Client portal using the latest mobile technologies. HTML5 client application developed from the scratch using bleeding-edge technologies: HTML5, Web Services, CSS3, JS, AJAX, XHTML and others. Project goal is to provide Playtech licensees with a way to address rapidly growing market of mobile devices: tablets (both iPad and Android based).

The application will involve very intensive UI development from one side and highly scalable server-side implementation from the other. The project requirements are very demanding both from the usability and technological points of view.

Thus all the team members will take active part in the solution design and implementation. The project is tightly integrated with development teams which are spread in three locations: Ukraine, Estonia and Israel. Our team is responsible for developing web based portal applications for Mobile Devices. You have a chance to become a part of our friendly professional team. Our team will provide support and knowledge sharing to make your integration into our team as smooth as possible.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements;

Make architectural and design decisions (using JS, HTML, CSS, XHTML);

Write robust manageable code;

Alpha testing and code review;

Support and promote the OOP approach;

Become a mentor and a self-motivated and result focused team player.

Required qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of web technologies in general – JS, HTML, CSS;

4+ years of experience working with JavaScript, AJAX;

3+ years of experience working with CSS3, XHTML (knowledge of LESS is a plus);

Experience of working with jQuery;

Experience of cross-browser projects development;

Understanding of the principles of the OOP;

Strong team player with good communication skills;

Ability to maintain good quality of work tasks;

Ability to learn quickly and desire to improve;

Good knowledge of English language – spoken and written.

Good to have skills:

Experience of working with Backbone.js, Require.js, Socket.io;

Version controlling (SVN, GIT);

System integration experience (WebServices, SOA);

Initiative, goal and results orientated;
